Sri M S Ravi Varma, Vice Chairman of the MNR Educational Trust is accelerating the growth of the University with his great passion, sheer determination and meticulous planning. As a mentor, he has imbibed the legacy of Shri M.N. Raju and has worked for the all round development of MNR Educational Trust which has now given a shape to MNR University (MNRU). Armed with optimism and a pragmatic growth approach, he believes that Technology and Systems will play an integral part in shaping the future of the University. He is redefining the etiquette of quality education with an indomitable team spirit. For students he is a pacemaker with hallmarked practice of teaching and learning process. Known for his innovative and exemplary skills, he embraces the welfare and promotion of the University with a wise objective outlook. He has inherited the passion for Education and would like to see that this passion for education spreads like an endemic. His dream is to make MNRU not only the best in the state but also to make it known nationally and internationally.

With his visionary approaches,  the MNRU  is now all set to become a 21st Century world-class overall higher education and skill capabilities provider to meet the Global challenges. The MNRU is a multi-institutional and multi-disciplinary university making curriculum more inclusive and offering skilful education for increasing employability potential of the graduates and postgraduates. In tune with the National Educational Policy (NEP), he envisions the MNRU to develop good, thoughtful, well rounded and creative individuals with ethical and constitutional values, intellectual curiosity, scientific temper and spirit of service.

Being a self-motivated and industrious person, he is instrumental in introducing new courses which bring a paradigm shift from traditional technologies to the cutting edge technologies namely  artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, additive manufacturing, drone technology, agricultural sciences, IT in agriculture, allied health sciences catering to the needs of the contemporaneous and foreseeable future.    Also,  short term 3-month certificate courses and one-year PG Diploma courses in the latest technologies are contemplated by him as some kind of finishing schools for enhancing the employability of the students.
