Dr. Hemalatha Devi Ananthaneni is an excellent academician in the field of Medical Education in India. An alumnus of Rangaraya Medical College, Dr NTR University of Health Sciences Vijayawada. She previously served as General Practitioner in Huzur nagar Taluka, Nalgonda (Dist) for 3 years (1980-1983). Worked in Islamic Republic of Iran for 10 years as Casualty Medical Officer from 1984-1994. Worked in PHC Konijerla, Khammam (Dist) as Civil Assistant Surgeon & Drawing Officer from 1995-2001. Conducted Training Programs to Doctors in service, Nurses, Dwacra, and Para Medical Staff in FPDA PHC. It is a model PHC where planted Hundreds of plants and Performed Nearly 3000 Family planning operations.

Her Academic career start from 2001 as Tutor & Service Post graduate in Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada till 2004. Assistant Professor in Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada from 2004-2010. Associate Professor in Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada from 2010- 2017. Professor & HOD in Govt. Medical College (RIMS), Ongole from 12th Feb 2017 and retired on 30thApril 2017. Joined in Katuri Medical College, Guntur as Professor & HOD of Physiology on 1st May 2017 till 30th January 2021 and also Principal of Para Medical College.

Before accepting the responsibilities as the Dean, MNR School of Allied Health Sciences, MNR University, Sangareddy Campus, She has been working as Professor & HOD in the department of Physiology and Chairperson NAAC from 31st January 2021. Her prime obligations included student care and mentoring, course content preparations for both Undergraduates and Postgraduates, Curriculum improvements and introducing innovative teaching learning methods.

During her academic career spanning over nineteen years, Dr. Hemalatha Devi Ananthaneni has made significant contributions in the arena of education. She is also having paper setter for Yenepoya University Mangalore, MGR University of health Sciences, Chennai for both UG and PG. She conducted Neurophysiology Expo in MNR Medical College, Sangareddy in 2021. She is having 8 (Eight) International Publications. Attended workshops on teaching in MCI Conferences, CME Programs and Seminars. Attended MCI Workshop in March 2017 in Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada. Speaker in Zonal CME for Psychiatry Dept in Katuri Medical College, Guntur on Evoked Potential on August 2017. Attended workshop in Management Training Program for Medical Officers of P.H.C / D.D units conducted under the National Training Project (I.D.D.D.I) of Hyderabad from 07-3-95 to 16-3-95. She also worked as Warden in Katuri Medical College with previous experience of 5 Years in Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada as Ladies Hostel Warden. She Attended Pulse Program to AIIMS Delhi for 2 years along with students of Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada for 2011–2012 & 2012–2013 batches. Conducted Golden Jubilee Celebrations & Medical Exhibition in Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada in 2007 and Conducted Silver Jubilee Celebrations in DR NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada & Medical Exhibition in Siddartha Medical College, Vijayawada in 2011.

Currently She is Examiner for Rajiv Gandhi University of Heath Sciences, Karnataka, M.G.R University of Health Sciences, Chennai, Manipal University of Health Sciences, Manipal, DR N.T.R University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada & KNR University of Health Sciences, Warangal for Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Para Medical Examinations.
